Saturday Morning Reality: Chef’s Special & The Chocolate Milk Chaser

If you’re wondering how things are going at Snoopy's Closet this morning, it’s a beautiful mix of caregiving, cooking, and the ultimate breakfast hack. Being the sole caregiver and the head chef means I spend a lot of time making sure everyone else is set up for success.

Today’s spread was a classic: eggs, bacon, and toast. There’s something about a Saturday morning in Mississippi that just requires a hot meal to feel official.

However, the real highlight of my meal was the "dessert." After the cooking was done, I treated myself to a tall, cold glass of chocolate milk. It’s the ultimate reward for playing short-order cook—sweet, nostalgic, and zero extra effort.

And of course, I wasn't eating alone. I had some very serious supervision:

The Stealth Snuggle: In 1000003947.jpg, you can see the initial "blurred" stage of the morning where Snoopy is basically a ghost under the blankets.

The Cozy Curl: By the time the chocolate milk came out, he had moved into the "cozy curled" position seen in 1000003946.jpg, nestled right in for his morning nap.

Today’s Saturday Mantra:

"If the breakfast is hot, the chocolate milk is cold, and the dog is curled up like a croissant, you’ve officially won the weekend."
